Dania Sanchez

Dania Sanchez, Staff Writer

A move north from Chula Vista reshaped Dania Sanchez’s senior year plans, but the 12th grader discovered unexpected opportunities in journalism along the way. Sanchez is a senior who partakes in journalism. She is currently debating on switching her second elective, art. Her current favorite class is journalism. One of her favorite teachers is William Anderson who taught US history back at Castle Park High School. She is most looking forward to graduating this year and continuing her life on in college. “If you asked me five months ago about living in Escondido I would’ve never believed you, but I’m looking forward to journalism because I’m excited to hear about people’s opinions and their train of thought,” Sanchez said.

Outside of journalism, she strives and works toward her goals of attending a good university and becoming a surgeon. Some of Sanchez’s hobbies and interests include the following: going to the beach, going out, and spending time with her boyfriend and family. She is looking forward to interviewing people, learning about graphic designs, and working with cameras. She is also hoping to accomplish numerous things like traveling more, socializing, and putting herself out there this year and many more to come.
