There’s a nice girl in room 731, her name is Sofia Melchor. She is a senior at Orange Glen High School. She has been in Musket Media for 4 years, and she wants to help the new students in order for them to have fun in class and feel comfortable. She’s quiet and focused on school, keeping her circle small, she enjoys going out to eat with her friends. Most of her free time is used to rest after a long day at work and school but she likes to make time to go to school events and take pictures. “Putting aside time for school activities has helped me know what is happening and get better pictures, learning more and more every day,” Melchor said. After High School she wants to go to college and study criminology. For Melchor being a detective has been her dream because she would like to solve cases. Although she does not have a dream college she would love to go to college out of California. Aside from Musket Media, Melchor is very involved with soccer. She has played for the school’s girls soccer team since her freshman year and recently joined a soccer club to stay active outside the soccer season.
“Soccer has been my way of releasing stress, those girls are like another family, and I have made memories with them for years,” Melchor said.
