Students in photography practice their shutter speed skills to create unique images.

Students in beginning photography have been learning about the technical components of the camera. From shutter speed, to apertures and ISO, they are starting to learn how to manipulate all the components of the camera. One of the most popular projects every year is light painting, which uses a slow shutter speed and flashlights. Students spent a week working in the complete dark in the Performing Arts Center to create this creative images.
